At the core of the Tachyon climbing rope is a polyamide inner core that ensures a consistent diameter, even when loaded, keeping the rope steady and easy to handle. The polyester cover adds to its performance, improving friction hitch performance without any “bagginess”. With a diameter of 11.5 mm, the Tachyon rope provides a better grip, reducing hand fatigue during climbing, and is compatible with standard hardware designed for use with 11.5 mm ropes.

One of the standout features of the Tachyon rope is its low stretch at low loads, which minimizes bounce while climbing, providing stability and control. However, it also has high stretch at high loads, reducing the shock effect in the event of a fall, ensuring safety during climbing operations. The Tachyon rope is certified to EN 1891A as well as ANSI Z133-2012 standards, meeting the highest industry requirements for safety and performance.
