Our journey began with a simple yet profound realization: arborists require reliable tools, and finding them locally in the Baltic States was a challenge. Today, we are proud to be the largest selection of arborist equipment and tree climbing gear e-shop in the Baltic States, serving professionals across the region and beyond.

Our Story

Arbogear was founded by Arne Oad, a dedicated arborist and Tree Appraiser. Arne’s journey in arboriculture began in 2012 when an old schoolmate invited him to assist with some tree work. That same year, Arne began his studies in arboriculture at Luua Forestry School. In 2013, life took Arne from Tallinn to the summer capital of Estonia, Pärnu, where he continued his career as an arborist. By 2014, he had obtained his arborist certification and further pursued studies to become a Tree Appraiser.

In 2015, Arne, along with a colleague, established OK Acer OÜ. The company grew rapidly by Estonian standards, but they soon faced a critical challenge: sourcing essential arborist supplies quickly and locally was difficult. This was especially true for tree bracing products, which were crucial for many of their projects. To solve this problem, Arne began sourcing directly from manufacturers, and in 2017, the Arbogear brand was born.
